THACO AUTO has officially introduced the THACO Towner Van with automatic transmission under the THACO TRUCK brand. Featuring a compact design, flexible operation, and modern amenities, this model helps improve the driving experience and operational efficiency for customers.

8-speed Automatic Transmission: Optimized Performance, Effortless Driving

The THACO Towner Van is the first gasoline-powered van in Vietnam equipped with a modern 8-speed automatic transmission. 

The vehicle is powered by an engine featuring advanced Japanese technology that meets Euro 5 emission standards. With a 1.6L displacement, it delivers a maximum output of 122Ps and 158Nm of torque, ensuring powerful performance, excellent fuel efficiency, and environmental friendliness. Furthermore, the Electric Power Steering (EPS) system provides effortless handling, offering a comfortable driving experience equivalent to that of a passenger car.

The vehicle features an independent MacPherson front suspension and a leaf-spring rear suspension, combined with hydraulic shock absorbers, providing a stable and smooth ride with superior load-bearing capacity. Additionally, it is equipped with comprehensive safety features, including an anti-lock braking system (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), and a rearview camera. Unibody chassis made of high-strength steel with a reinforced frame for maximum durability and occupant safety. 

Spacious cargo capacity for diverse needs 

With a payload of 945 kg and a small turning radius, it perfectly serves the transport of food, consumer goods, parcels, etc.

The model offers two versions:

• THACO Towner T0-2.6: overall dimensions of 4,500 x 1,690 x 2,000 mm, with a cargo volume of 5,28 m³ (2-seater) and 3.22 m³ (5-seater).
• THACO Towner T0-2.7: overall dimensions of 4,800 x 1,690 x 2,000 mm, with a cargo volume of 5.91 m³ (2-seat) and 3.85 m³ (5-seat). 

The spacious cargo area is fitted with anti-slip aluminum flooring for durability. Loading is made effortless even in tight spaces thanks to dual sliding side doors and a rear door that opens upward (T0-2.6) or swings to both sides (T0-2.7). 

Sophisticated design

The new model boasts a luxurious yet robust exterior, highlighted by a chrome-plated grille and a centered brand logo. High-intensity Halogen Projector headlights, combined with a double-layer windshield and wide-angle rearview mirrors, ensure maximum safety.

The interior offers premium amenities including waterproof simili-wrapped seats, two-way air conditioning, a 7-inch multi-functional AVN screen, and convenient storage compartments. The driver-centric cockpit is scientifically arranged with:

• A 3-spoke steering wheel and LED dashboard.
• A modern rotary gear selector for the automatic transmission.
• Power windows and remote central locking.

The 5-seater version features flexible folding rear seats to expand cargo space when needed.
